She is also an active member of Canadian Lawyers for International Human Rights and Amnesty International. Ms. Amiri pursued undergraduate studies as an honors student at the University of Toronto, Canada’s highest-ranking university, where she double-majored in Evolutionary Anthropology (Bachelor of Science) and Sociology (Bachelor of Arts). During her time there, she also worked as a research assistant. She went on to complete her legal education at Bond University in Australia, consistently ranked among the top universities globally for its legal programs, and Osgoode Hall Law School, one of Canada’s most prestigious law schools.
